ABOUT US

Established in 1984, The Edge School of Wrestling became the first amateur wrestling school of its kind in the United States. Its founder, Ernie Monaco, has trained wrestlers at the youth, high school, collegiate, and international levels since then. He has appeared in a documentary on FloWrestling, as well as on the Wrestling Changed My Life and Everything Women's Wrestling podcasts. The Edge has a proven system that works and has produced distinguished results. The Edge provides quality training in large groups, small groups, private sessions, and team settings. We work with athletes of all ages, abilities, and experience levels, striving to provide them with the highest level of instruction possible. Our goal is to ensure that each of our athletes reaches their full potential.
The Edge is structured for the more serious, committed, and goal-oriented athlete looking for a long-term commitment. It is not intended as an opportunity to supplement workouts or serve as an after-school recreational activity for children. The Edge program follows a curriculum-based process that has proven successful over time and seeks athletes interested in embarking on that journey with us.

Our Mission
The Edge is committed to teaching and mentoring students through the sport of wrestling to strive for individual excellence in all aspects of their lives, developing character, self-confidence, self-discipline, mental toughness, grit, and a strong work ethic to prepare them for life’s challenges.
