YOUTH CLASSES

The Edge offers Youth Classes for grade school children. This is the entry-level class into our program. These classes are designed for students to learn, improve, and have fun. The primary objective is to begin the development of basic fundamental skills needed for success at every competitive level. The curriculum is designed toward the long-term success of the athlete and not simply winning now. The program has a twenty- year proven track record of success that is arguably second to none. All of our most outstanding wrestlers have come from our youth programs. The development of good habits at an early age is extremely important. It is also important to teach young wrestlers that learning skills can be fun. This philosophical approach to wrestling has made The Edge what it is today. One of the most highly respected and quality youth programs in the country. The minimum age requirement for students in this class is seven years old. The maximum age is defined by the athlete’s entry into high school, or when the athlete is deemed ready for the high school class.
