ABOUT US
Established in 1984, The Edge School of Wrestling became the first amateur wrestling school of its kind in the United States. Its founder, Ernie Monaco, has been training wrestlers at the youth, high school, collegiate, and international levels since then. He has been featured in a documentary on FloWrestling, and on the Wrestling Changed My Life and Everything Women's Wrestling podcasts. The Edge has a proven system that works and has produced distinguished results. The Edge provides quality training in large group, small group, private, and team settings. We work with athletes of all ages, abilities, and experience levels and strive to provide them with the highest level of instruction possible. Our goal is to see that each of our athletes reaches their full potential.
The Edge is structured and geared towards the more serious, committed, and goal-driven athlete who is in it for the long term. It is not intended to be a place to pick up additional workouts or as an after-school recreational activity for children to participate in. The Edge program follows a curriculum-based process that has proven to be successful over time and seeks athletes interested in taking that journey with us.
Our Mission
The Edge is committed to teaching and mentoring students through the sport of wrestling to strive for individual excellence in all aspects of their lives, developing character, self-confidence, self-discipline, mental toughness, grit, and a strong work ethic to prepare them for life’s challenges.
